CTeen Bucks County gives Jewish teens a place to connect, build friendships, explore Judaism, lead, celebrate and show up as themselves.
This community is built around experiences teens actually want to be part of, from social events and trips to Jewish learning, volunteering, sports, holiday programs and leadership opportunities, all across Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
Our approach
Three ideas that shape everything we run.
Pro-Semitism
We believe in fostering Judaism that teens want to be part of, through Jewish experiences that are fun, relevant and empowering. Jewish identity here is something teens carry with confidence, pride and joy, not only something they defend.
Power of YOUth
Teens are not just participants. They lead, organize, contribute ideas, shape programming, take responsibility and create opportunities for other teens. Presidents and student leaders run real parts of this community.
Just JEW it
Judaism becomes real by doing it. Shabbat, holidays, volunteering, learning, friendships, food, traditions, travel and service. Less theory, more showing up.
Executive Directors
Rabbi Chaim and Nina Shemtov
Chaim and Nina lead CTeen Bucks County, from the CTeen Lounge to Shabbat tables, trips and everything in between. Teens know where to find them, and so do parents.
